The “Tez” quick-commerce delivery service is being tested by Amazon staff in Bengaluru. This trial project is aimed at providing super-fast deliveries, thus competing directly with existing platforms such as Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit, and Zepto.
According to reports, Tez concentrates on meeting everyday requirements like groceries, drinks and other essentials but within a short time of order placement. The service is currently available for use by the company’s employees as part of its internal testing.
India’s quick-commerce market has grown significantly with many players trying to win customer loyalty through reducing delivery times. By entering into this space, Amazon shows that it wants to further strengthen its presence in the country and take some share of this growing market.
Once fully launched, Tez could change everything for Amazon services in India.
